Oh no! This is the last time that we have a free post and I don't know about what to talk about.
Well... I'm going to talk about group works.
I'm not a social person, so the group works always has been an issue for me. In the elementary school it was easy, because I had some friends and I always worked with them and we did it good. Once my mom wanted to change me of school, but I didn't want to so I failed the entrance test.
But now in the university it has been quite different, because how I reprove a subject my classmates and friends changes and I don't like the new ones. And for doing it worst I had to work with all of them in a class, the theatrical staging workshop. In there we divided into teams -set design, costume design, lighting design and production- and I chose production because I thought that in that role I would had less contact with the rest of the class, because in that team we were just two of us and also my partner didn't work too much, but at least she was in charge of communicate thing to the rest of the class.
I now that one of the components of this career is to know how to work with others and I have to do my work the best possible and I must try to enjoy it.

I do not like to work in pairs. But when I have the opportunity to work with my friends I do so. Collective work is a capability that is hard to train and it is very requires nowadays!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Karina, well you are right, it is hard to work sometimes when you can't choose your workmates, as you would in real life... sometimes, at least. Let's hope that after the university is over we can choose with who we work.

ReplyDeleteI know that being friends makes easier the way, but I think that is not necessary to be friends with somebody to work with C: it possible, althought sometimes it would requires more patience, effort and willingness.
